Pulpmotion Advanced won't work after Snow Leopard Upgrade

I recently upgraded to OS 10.6 from 10.5 and ever since, Pulpmotion Advanced has been rendered useless.

With most of the templates, nothing shows up in the view screen when played (not even the introduction). With some, the introduction plays, but then the photos I've added either don't show up or show up for a brief moment then disappear. Other times (with previously created projects), the photos have black boxes around them.

I've tried re-installing Pulpmotion but to no avail.

Anyone have any ideas what the heck is going on?

As it stands now, Pulpmotion is useless.

Hi,

We've got many report about this. It seems there are two issues. First of all, Snow Leopard must be updated in 10.6.2 as previous version have many compatibility issue with quartz composer. The second point is about the plugins from Kineme. If you've installed GL Tools from Kineme, you've got to delete it of update it to version 1.3.

I am using OS 10.6.2 and I have never heard of Kineme or GL Tools. I did a search for both of those on my computer anyway to make sure that I didn't have it installed, and there are no references to it on my computer.

Any other thoughts? Again, as is, Pulpmotion is useless on my computer.

Hi everybody,

The issue comes from GLTool plugin. This plugin can be installed by another application and is not find by spotlight.

You've got to check these folder:

/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/
~/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/
/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Patches/
~/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Patches/

On snow leopard, you need the version 1.3 or later.
